Gorgeous family home in Woldingham

Interior Design in Surrey

One of our latest projects is for a retired couple in Woldingham in Surrey.

This is a beautiful property and needed a refresh as some of the furniture was now a little tired and dated.

Having taken a brief we sourced a new sofa and reading chair for the sun room together with side tables and lamps.

We made suggestions for new fabric for 2 roman blinds in the Dining room.

A feature storage piece for the dining room was a gorgeous sideboard made from Ebony Ash. It has brushed brass door fronts and a cerused finish which means that it has a type of “limed look”. This technique is designed to draw out the detail and character of the grain in the wood.

New lamps, accessories and artwork were chosen together with 8 new fabric covered dining chairs.

This client was great to work with but the one stipulation they had with the design was that we had to incorporate their current dining table.

No problem we said and they're delighted! This table has history. It was discovered in an awful state having been used as a solicitors desk and then dumped following an office fit out.

Beautifully restored this table has been part of the family growing up and moving home multiple times for decades. Family meals, parties, kids, Grandparents.

It has history, it's personal.
