I asked Jan to help me envision the interior design for a loft bedroom ( midway through construction).
As a client I felt listened to and understood. The outcome of the meeting exceeded all expectations. A valuable lesson I learnt was that there are significant benefits consulting an interior designer prior to starting a build, and not after as I did. Never too late to learn something new!!!
My builders/architect were fantastic but Jan’s sharp eye spotted couple of things - even made amendments based on her suggestions.
Jan helped me understand how to live in the space whereas my amazing building team built the space.

Jan has been our superstar for the last few years as we redecorated our living room before undergoing a full house renovation when we moved to our new property last year.
Previously we used Jan for a Creative walkthrough as we redecorated our living room. In the relatively short time she was there, she gave us so many ideas (all of which were implemented). I loved Jan’s vision and she understood exactly what we were after.
Fast forward to last year when we did a full house renovation of my childhood home. Jan did a full lightning plan for the whole house before helping to design a new entrance hallway and landing with a wow factor. Jan produced great lighting plans, she walked through all the details with our builders and electricians and they followed her layout almost exactly. She’s was sympathetic to the Edwardian period features of the house and incorporated all of this into her paint suggestions and furnishing ideas. She pushed us out of our comfort zone and we are over the moon with how our home looks now. Her knowledge of older houses was incredible and she even helped us rediscover new features which we’d never seen before on her first visit!

My wife and I had Jan over to our house for a two hour Creative Walkthrough to go over our renovation plans. This was the first time we used Fusion and likely not the last.
We found the session incredibly helpful as it made us re-think some of our plans and get validation on the remaining. For example, Jan gave us really great ideas of how to make much better use of the space of our kitchen, dining area and living room. She also gave us valuable advise ahead of upcoming electrical work and many other aspects of the renovations.

They can handle a wide range of projects, so I'd thoroughly recommend them but please don't take up too much of Jason's time because we still have a lot for him to do.

We have had the pleasure of working with Jan and Jason on two of our properties.
The first was a new build, so we had lots of fun designing and decorating. The end result was more than I could have imagined, they transformed the house and I was devastated to leave.
The second was an older property with hurdles along the way but with their knowledge and experience, they tackled every hurdle with ease. They have transformed the downstairs of our house and I cannot wait for the time we can get them back around to do the same for the upstairs.

Our biggest project to date with Fusion (not our first, and probably not our last!). As usual, we got a lot more than we could imagine ourselves. We wanted bifold doors at the back of our kitchen to bring the garden in to the kitchen, and take the kitchen out to the garden. It required a complete redesign of the kitchen. Jan's creative flair not only solved logistical challenges but painted a pallet that created flow throughout the kitchen and also into the garden.
After the design the Fusion team then built our new kitchen and installed beautiful bifold doors. Oh, the kitchen was also better insulated and we had a new gym where the garage was! Thanks to Jan, Jason, Paul and Simon for everything! We love it.
The design process involved 2D drawings and 3D visuals.

We have been intending to update our house for the last couple of years, but just didn't know where to start, we were going round in circles. We couldn't decide what type of changes were needed and then we came across Fusion Interior and decided to give it a go.
We chose the 2 hour creative walkthrough and it was brilliant. In just 2 hours Jan helped us see what changes would make a difference and within 2 hours we had a plan ! The first project that Fusion worked on for us was in 2005, when we moved into our house, and we’ve been with them ever since!

On their website, easily found on Google, they have various packages designed to meet the requirements of clients and are happy to talk over the phone to decide what would be the most suitable before committing. I used the Interior Design Service on both projects.
What I liked about Fusion Interior Design initially was that is there isn’t a brand design, Jan will listen to the client to establish their ideas, life style and expectations and then over a period of time make suggestions and give options for the client to consider. It is very much a partnership moving towards an end goal.
Jason, Jan’s partner looked after the hands on side of the design and could not have been better. He was prompt, diligent, clean and very tidy and good company to have in the house.
Fusion Interior Design run a very professional business. They are friendly, helpful, always prompt and good communicators. I felt confident throughout the whole process we were working together to change my home from being “alright” into something I am now very proud of.

I contacted Fusion Interior Design when i was looking to update and redesign the lounge of my home. I found them by doing a Google search and was attracted by their website and years of experience.
When Jan contacted me I explained that I needed her expertise for ideas and also project management. Little did I know what wonderful experience would follow. Jan totally 'got' what I was looking for and we spent hours on shopping trips and also discussing the many options of carpets, fabrics and furniture that she sourced.
I felt as though I was working with a friend.
Once my choices were made, Jan created 3D visuals for me which showed exactly how my room would look. After my approval she then booked in the various tradesmen needed and the job ran seamlessly. Every one one the people Jan employed on my behalf has a high standard of work....with a special shout out to Jason, Jan's husband and the other half of Fusion, who also happens to be an excellent painter and decorator.

This was my first experience using Fusion and I can’t rate them highly enough. We went for the design blocks service as we were struggling to furnish our newly created kitchen/diner/snug area and creating the wow factor we wanted.

I wasn't even sure if Jan was going to be able to help us with ideas and things we could do to make the property into something we would love. But she did! and without major renovation as well - (to fit our current budget) she provided some really good ideas I wouldn't have thought and the service definitely exceeded my exceptions.

We recently used Jan at Fusion Design to come up with a new look for our living room and dining room. She recommended a creative walkthrough which included some time getting to know us at home plus some creative time on her computer. We immediately felt at ease with her and trusted her 100%.

Having wrestled with layout plans for our proposed extension for months we almost settled on an option that was achievable but, that we were not 100% happy with. In need of fresh input, we engaged with Jan and Fusion Interior Design.
Jan spent an hour on site with us talking through what we wanted from our project. Jan saw and understood the problems that concerned us in our initial proposal and by the end of our meeting we had a new layout, including marked up sketches, that would give us what we wanted from the project. We have used Fusion for a number of years to do various projects within our house. In fact, there are probably only a couple of rooms that they have not revamped.
The latest project was a major roof replacement/outside of the house tidy up during the summer. This was combined with work done to our kitchen and dining room.
We really like dealing with Jan and Jason who are extremely friendly and excellent at what they do. They bring insightful ideas, great project management and real attention to detail. They did all of this work despite our two young boys being in the house (they still miss chatting to Jason and looking at his tools!).

Fusion Interior Design's "Creative Walkthrough" Service was just what I needed !!
After decorating several of our rooms, I was left with the feeling that they were "unfinished" but I didn't know how to create the finished look. Spending 2 hours with Jan was ideal. She had reviewed the questions and photos I sent in advance and so within a few minutes of arriving and listening to my concerns she outlined her overall thoughts and provided specific suggestions on how we could improve the rooms.
One of the most valuable things was the time spent with Jan on the laptop, reviewing suggested sites and identifying pieces that would suit my needs while staying within my budget. I'm now really enjoying taking delivery of my purchases and seeing the rooms take shape. It's still work in progress, but now I know what to do to get the look I'm after.

I appointed Fusion Interior Design using their Creative Walkthrough and Design Blocks service. I was keen to refresh my lounge and bedrooms with some new furniture and accessories. The package was perfect for what I wanted as I was able to tell Jan what I was looking for and she came to my house to assess what would work.
Jan then provided me with lots of options and pdf design ideas with all the links for the suggested items that I could consider.
Where I had questions and needed advice, Jan was always on hand and able to guide me and explain her thoughts and ideas. I then ordered the items and Jan came to the house to help dress the room. I have completed the lounge and this included new dining room chairs, armchair, rug, cushions and throws. It looks fabulous and I am delighted with the results.
The service I received was excellent and I know that I would not have had the confidence to source these items and design my room without Fusion Interior. In the New Year we will be working on doing the same for a couple of my bedrooms.

After researching several interior design companies and comparing them with Fusion's website, especially about them, their experience and the testimonials we decide to book a consultation with Jan to discuss our brief, which was to completely refit the interior of our Grade II listed apartment in the iconic Parkleys 'Span' development in Ham, Richmond, which included a replacement kitchen, bathroom and radiators.
They were quick to respond, friendly, polite, clear and professional. They issued a Scope Of Works which accurately detailed everything we had agreed upon and we were very impressed with that. Then came the quote, payment schedule and drawings, quickly followed by the fun bit of samples and brochures.
With great organisation, communication and a positive, proactive and calm management style, Fusion delivered a complex project during Covid lockdowns and with sympathy to the listed features of the apartment. During each stage of the project, we were utterly delighted with the results and Jan kept coming up with inspirational and smart design ideas and solutions. Throughout the whole time, Jan, Jason and the trades were an absolute pleasure to work with and so friendly, experienced, punctual and utterly trustworthy.
The final finish on our apartment is amazing and beyond our expectations. It has even added approx 20% to the valuation of the property. All our recent visitors have commented on the wow factor and the amazing transformation from a tired, unloved property to a light filled, bright, modern and homely apartment.

This was the first time we had made use of a designer and we certainly picked the right one. Having moved from a house to a flat we were looking to achieve a comfortable uncluttered environment while at the same time maximizing the storage space.
This process required that we made use of a range of Fusion Interior Design's services including a full design service, space planning & drawings, a creative walkthrough, decorating services together with management of various sub-contractors. All of the work carried out was of a consistently high standard and any problem was dealt with a minimum of fuss.
On top of all of this both Jan and Jason were very easy people to deal with. One other plus which was particularly satisfactory to a retired Scottish accountant was that the project was completed on budget.
